VAST LANDS OF CHAMPAGNE

Apr 22 2018

The distinctive je ne sais quoi of Guillotine Vodka starts with our artisans, who utilize traditional grape picking and processing techniques that lend themselves to creating the complex and powerful flavors at the essence of our spirits.

Guillotine Vodkas are created using a mix of white and black grapes —Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay—chosen from vineyards in the Champagne wine region, an area renowned for its chalky, mineral-rich soil.

Our ultra-premium vodkas are crafted using artisanal techniques steeped in France’s rich history of fine wines and spirits. Following traditional practices, the world-renowned grapes are harvested and de-seeded by hand before heading to the press.

After pressed, the grape marc is fermented and then slowly distilled in a 100-year-old distillery, following the standards of traditional French expertise to preserve the subtleties of the fruit. The resulting spirit is collected and transported to our warehouse in Ile-de-France, where the vodka is bottled in locally sourced, custom-made glassware.

For Guillotine Heritage, our signature aged vodka, the spirit is left to further distill in Cognac barrels made from special Limousin oak, giving the spirit a warmth and sweetness reminiscent of the finest French cognacs.

Like the French revolutionary Robespierre, Guillotine refuses to compromise. Our vodka is vegan and gluten-free, made with no conservatives, coloring agents, or artificial sweeteners.
